A signature wine arising from the depths of the earth

LOCATION

Ctra. de Santa María, 36
47359 OLIVARES DE DUERO – VALLADOLID

DESCRIPTION

After being the home of the Marquis of Olivares, Rento was a farmhouse and inn for the Jesuits until their expulsion by Carlos III in the 18th century.

Now, the bodega has been reborn.

In this revival, it is called RENTO and occupies the former Jesuit convent building with a solid brick vault and walls between 1.5 and 2 metres thick that provide the optimum natural conditions for the ageing of wines. It has new wooden vats of American and French oak. The first production was carried out in 2000, using completely natural and artisan methods.

It has 50 new barrels of French and American oak, ideal for making and ageing Rento, a signature wine of the highest quality, which is produced exclusively from the best vintages, and through a delicate process of harvesting and winemaking.
